Idriss B, a French-Tunisian artist, has created new NFTs that are bringing art into the future

Idriss B, a Tunisian-French artist, created the 3D polygon sculptures that can be found in restaurants like Nusr-Et at the Four Seasons, Jumeirah, and on the beachfront of the Burj Al-Arab.

The Dubai-based artist, who just moved to the UAE from France, has developed his own non-fungible tokens (NFTs) dubbed “Polyverse Art” – a collection of 11,000 digital animal sculptures each with its own unique identity and personality. Last month, the Ethereum blockchain was used to debut virtual art pieces.

An NFT, for those unfamiliar with crypto, is any digital file, including GIFs, JPEGs, tweets, MP3s, and MP4s, to mention a few. Each NFT has a unique serial number that serves as proof of ownership. The token is yours, and the information about it is maintained on a blockchain, which is a decentralized digital ledger.

The artist feels that NFTs are the future of art, thus it was only natural for him to pursue that path. “NFTs are the way of the future, and the art world will fully embrace this new media,” he said

According to the artist’s website polyverseart.io, crypto-enthusiasts who acquire one of Idriss B’s NFTs receive an actual piece of art in addition to real-world privileges such as exclusive access to private concerts, fashion exhibitions, gallery openings, and NBA games.
