Dubai’s vibrant urban destination is promoting culture and community at DIFC’s Gate Village today for two nights from 6 pm onwards. Visitors can see the painting, sculptures, and installations from talented artists from around the world.
Live performances will be on display at Gate Village including roaming entertainers, The Picasso Musicians, a singer, and a saxophonist who will perform ‘out of a painting’.
Complimentary art workshops for children aged 6-14 will take place across both days. On Thursday, kids can take part in a mandala art workshop at 7 pm, an acrylic painting workshop at 8 pm, and a tassel wall hanging art workshop at 9 pm. On Friday, three more workshops will take place including a dot mandala painting class at 6:30 pm, a watercolor painting workshop at 7:30 pm, and a personalized name board workshop at 8:30 pm. Each workshop will be 45 mins and art supplies will be provided.
Art enthusiasts can visit some of Dubai’s most prestigious art galleries where the first NFT – selling exhibition is displayed in Artiana Gallery, The Mythical Metaverse, featuring the artworks of Sakti Burman. Artworks will be exhibited across Gate Villiage and will showcase the works of a variety of artists including Christopher Florentino, popularly known as Flore, a celebrated American contemporary fine artist whose distinct style fuses pop and street art. Artworks by other renowned artists will also be on display.
DIFC Art Nights are taking place from 6 pm to 10 pm at the Gate Village in DIFC, and admission is complimentary. For more details, visit www.difc.ae
