COYA Dubai is celebrating the 10-year anniversary of the COYA brand by presenting a significant and imaginative art project that exhibits the talents of local artists. The innovative Pisco Jar Project, which will be unveiled on May 29, will feature an exhibition of 10 wonderfully decorated Pisco jars, each one distinctively designed and painted by regional artists.
The Pisco Jar initiative is a global activation that incorporates all nine international COYA sites, marking a decade since the flagship COYA in London opened in 2012.
Pisco jars, as Peru’s national beverage, represent the attraction and attractiveness of Peruvian tradition, as well as the uplifting and eclectic DNA of the COYA brand. In the Pisco Bar and throughout COYA Dubai, all 10 of the unusual and ingeniously adorned glass jars will be on display for guests to enjoy.
The customized jars, which feature four well-known artists from Dubai, correctly portray the city’s melting pot culture, luxurious lifestyle, and local traditions. With her vibrant and funky adorned jars, Irish-born artist Anna McKeown, better known as Pop and Toast, has captured these qualities. This cooperation is made possible by The Caviar Spoon, a brand collaboration platform.
Ramsha Sh, a collage, surrealism, and realism artist, complements her eye-catching works. Her works are inspired by street art and a desire to recreate everyday reality in artistic form. She is a self-taught artist who enjoys experimenting with various mediums and techniques.
Farida Abushady, an Egyptian female empowerment artist who previously displayed her ‘Mother Nature’ collection at COYA Dubai in honor of International Women’s Day, has now turned her talents to fine art. She was born in Saudi Arabia and reared in Dubai, where she created The Art Wheel Co., a creative consultancy in Dubai.
From May 29 to June 30, all 10 of the striking and expertly crafted Pisco jars will be on display at COYA Dubai.
