Patricia Ochudlo is an emerging fine artist from Germany. Internationally collected, her elegantly energetic paintings can be found in private collections across the globe: mostly in Northern America, Europe, and Australia. Strong females, dreamscapes, and vibrant patterns blend on her canvas, unleashing a captivating world in which reality and surrealism coexist.
Her use of oil and mixed media produces a signature style that is characterized by its both soothing and uplifting atmosphere. “The desire to invite others to dream and explore their inner worlds is at the core of my work,” says Patricia.
On social media, Patricia is part of a new generation of trailblazing artists shaking up the way art is brought to the public. Through sharing engaging short videos of her painting process, she aims to echo the current zeitgeist and make her work accessible to broader audiences. And she does so with great success: many of her videos have gone viral and have gained her recognition in international markets.
Patricia has felt drawn to creatively express herself since a young age. Legend has it, she started drawing when she was able to first hold a pencil and sold her first original painting at the mere age of seven. The artist did not obtain a traditional fine art degree and instead, prides herself in being mostly self-taught. “Each piece I paint is an ode to the vibrancy, light, and limitless potential within us, just waiting to be realized,” says Patricia
She sharpened her knowledge of aesthetics during her Communication Design studies and now studies Art & Marketing Management, next to her profession of being a fine artist. Her objective for her studies is to further sharpen her business skills, which she believes greatly complement her artistic side.
Furthermore, whilst she enjoys the freedom and independence that self-representing brings; it is among her aspirations for the future to collaborate with galleries sharing her artistic vision.
