The largest and capital of the UAE, Abu Dhabi, is a cosmopolitan city with a diverse population. In recent years, the city has developed into a gastronomic hotspot, known for its rich yet diverse culinary offerings, from local Emirati eateries to luxury dining rooms, and soon, for its Michelin Guide selected restaurants. The city is also a vibrant hub for sports, art, and cultural exchanges.

According to today’s announcement from Michelin, the Michelin Guide will present its first ever list of restaurants in Abu Dhabi in November 2022. The city is now the 41st place in the global Michelin Guide’s list of destinations.

“The inspectors are eager to share their findings with our community after being delighted by the diversity and quality of what Abu Dhabi’s gastronomy has shown.

Based on a tried-and-true technique that has been used effectively all over the world, the Michelin Guide inspectors will select the Michelin Guide Abu Dhabi 2023.

Saleh Mohamed Al Geziry, director general of tourism for the Department of Culture and Tourism in Abu Dhabi, said: “Abu Dhabi provides an exceptionally rich and diversified culinary scene, showcasing flavors from all over the world. As a result, we are honored and eager to learn about the debut of the Michelin Guide Abu Dhabi this November, which will further solidify our growing image as a centre of emerging culinary excellence.

We can bring a variety of inspiring, thrilling, and restoring experiences that tourists may find at their own speed by sharing Abu Dhabi with the world in this way.
