Educational Pursuits and Accomplishments
Azza Al Qubaisi’s artistic journey began with a Bachelor’s degree in Jewellery Design and Allied Crafts from the prestigious London Guildhall University. There, she honed her craft and discovered her unique voice as a jewellery artist. Later, she pursued an MA in Cultural and Creative Industries from the renowned Centre of Excellence for Applied Research & Training (CERT) at the Higher Colleges of Technology (HCT), solidifying her understanding of the art world and its impact on culture and society.
A Stellar Portfolio of Exhibitions
Azza’s creative prowess has been showcased in various solo and group exhibitions both within the UAE and around the globe. Some of her standout exhibitions include “Portrait of a Nation” in Berlin (2017) and the “UAE National Day Exhibition” at EXPO Milano (2015), which allowed her to share her artistic vision with an international audience.
She has also graced the prestigious halls of Sotheby’s in London as part of the “Three Generations” exhibition (2013) and presented her captivating sculptures at “Sculpture to Wear” in Dubai’s Tashkeel (2012). The artistic fire within her has taken her even further to places like Helsinki (2004), Doha (Bahrain), Morocco, Cairo, and Brussels, enriching her experiences and connecting with diverse art communities.

As an artist, Azza is continually exploring new avenues to showcase her talent and creativity. In 2018, she participated in “Artists and the Cultural Foundation: The Early Years” at the Abu Dhabi Cultural Foundation, further adding to her illustrious portfolio. In 2021, she was part of the Art Space exhibition, a captivating collaboration between The Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi and ALDAR properties.
