Genesis has unveiled two new concept cars — the X Gran Coupe Concept and the X Gran Convertible Concept — at the 2025 Seoul Mobility Show. Revealed under the theme “Unfold a New Era of Genesis,” both vehicles draw from the platform of the brand’s flagship G90, signaling the next step in the marque’s design evolution.
The X Gran Coupe Concept takes cues from Mediterranean olive trees, while the X Gran Convertible Concept channels the elegance of European wines, according to Genesis. These inspirations highlight the automaker’s dedication to blending storytelling with aesthetics.
“With over 1.3 million customers worldwide, we’re seizing this moment to showcase our next chapter in performance and design,” said Mike Song, Global Head of Genesis.
Performance Meets Sophisticated Aesthetics
Both vehicles showcase Genesis’ “Two-Line” design language, featuring sleek silhouettes, wide fenders, and bold wheel designs. These visual elements emphasize both luxury and performance, aiming to appeal to modern automotive enthusiasts.
Inside the cabins, Genesis uses high-end materials like quilted leather, olive wood veneers, and crystal accents to enhance the tactile experience. The Coupe’s interior features ambient lighting inspired by olive trees. Meanwhile, the Convertible’s cabin includes tones that echo Cabernet Sauvignon grapes from Italy’s Livorno region.
