Converse has officially unveiled its Naruto Shippuden sneaker collection, celebrating five legendary characters from the beloved anime. This unique release blends iconic character traits with bold sneaker design. For anime fans and sneakerheads alike, this collaboration is an exciting crossover of culture and style.
Initially, the collection focused on Naruto Uzumaki, Sasuke Uchiha, and Gaara. Now, with the full reveal, it also includes a Kakashi Hatake-themed Chuck Taylor and a reworked Converse Weapon inspired by Itachi Uchiha. Each sneaker includes design details that reflect its character’s signature look and story.
Chuck Taylors Highlight Iconic Ninja Styles
The Naruto sneaker features his signature orange colour, along with black laces and the Eight Sign Seal symbol on the upper. Sasuke’s version has a clean white base, enhanced with purple rope-style laces that mirror his Orochimaru-era outfit. To add character, the heel includes a blue stripe and the Cursed Seal of Heaven.
Meanwhile, Gaara’s design comes in a rich red tone, with the kanji for “love” stitched into the collar. A cracked sole texture hints at his sand-based powers. Kakashi’s version stands out with its Barely Grey and Dark Water tones, reflecting his ANBU Black Ops look. In addition, red embroidery and a Kitsune mask charm add narrative depth. A Velcro strap also replaces standard laces, offering a unique twist.
Instead of the usual Converse patch, each Chuck Taylor features a 3D metallic shuriken badge. Plus, the heel plates are redesigned to resemble the forehead protectors worn by the characters — Naruto’s Hidden Leaf, Sasuke’s scratched-out Leaf symbol, and Gaara’s Sand Village mark.
Converse Weapon Meets Itachi’s Style and Fans Can Customise
The Converse Weapon has been redesigned for Itachi. It features a jacquard underlay that mirrors the pattern of his cloak. This detail gives the shoe a darker, more serious tone, matching Itachi’s personality and story.
Beyond the main release, Converse will offer a By You customisation platform. Fans can choose canvas colours, toe caps, heel plates, tongue liners, and graphic prints inspired by Naruto Shippuden. This way, they can build a sneaker that reflects their own style and favourite character.
