SpaceOne has revealed its latest innovation, the WorldTimer — a high-concept mechanical watch tailored for international travelers. Marking the brand’s third major release, the timepiece continues its cosmic design language while incorporating automotive styling influences from returning designer Olivier Gamiette.
Breaking from traditional formats, the WorldTimer ditches classic hands in favor of a unique disc-based display. The layout includes a minutes disc positioned at 3 o’clock, a central seconds disc, and a 12-hour disc at 6 o’clock. A standout feature is the dual coaxial discs at 9 o’clock, which simultaneously show 24-hour time and corresponding global cities.
Precision engineering meets futuristic aesthetics
Housed in Grade 5 titanium, the case showcases polished, brushed, and sandblasted finishes for dynamic visual contrast. A sapphire dome covers the intricate display, adding depth and reinforcing the futuristic vibe. Functionally, the watch is equipped with a three-position crown that enables intuitive manual winding, city disc adjustment, and synchronized 12-hour/24-hour settings.
Powering the WorldTimer is the Soprod P024 automatic movement, running at 28,800 vibrations per hour with a 38-hour power reserve. The world-time complication is developed and assembled in Paris, reflecting SpaceOne’s focus on precision and innovation.
Limited availability and global appeal
Only 600 units of the SpaceOne WorldTimer will be made available in the first release. Pre-orders open on June 26, with each piece priced at €2,700 (approximately $3,111 USD). The limited-edition nature of the watch underscores its exclusivity and appeal among collectors and travel enthusiasts alike.
