Vacheron Constantin has introduced a horological tour de force: the Les Cabinotiers Temporis Duo Grand Complication Openface. This singular creation unites three of haute horology’s most intricate functions — a minute repeater, a split-seconds chronograph, and a tourbillon with a spherical hairspring — into a single, meticulously engineered movement.

This rare combination, seldom seen in wristwatches, is made possible through Vacheron Constantin’s mastery of mechanical miniaturization and precision engineering. Powering the piece is the hand-finished Calibre 2757 S, comprising 696 individual components — each executed with the highest level of artisanal craftsmanship.
Openface design and technical elegance
The timepiece’s most striking feature is its open-faced sapphire dial, revealing the dynamic inner workings of the movement. The display balances frosted and polished surfaces, with counters encircled by metallized 5N pink gold rings. A green alligator strap complements the subtle olive tone of the chronograph hands, enhancing the aesthetic harmony.
The 45mm case, crafted in 18K 5N pink gold, houses the complex architecture of the movement. On the reverse, blackened bridges are hand-sandblasted and mirror-polished to contrast beautifully with the golden mechanisms in motion. Every angle of the watch offers a glimpse into its refined construction and technical excellence.
Precision mechanics with Poinçon de Genève hallmark
Function meets finesse in the split-seconds chronograph, operated by a single push-piece and engineered with lightweight titanium and aluminium components to improve energy efficiency. The tourbillon at six o’clock is equally commanding — its spherical hairspring boosts isochronism, while its Maltese cross–shaped cage nods to the brand’s emblematic heritage.
The Calibre 2757 S offers a 72-hour power reserve and is stamped with the Poinçon de Genève, a mark of the highest finishing standards in Swiss watchmaking.
