Emirati artist Abdulla Lutfi’s new installation of a monochromatic mural depicts the old and the new Dubai for visitors to enjoy as they head to downtown Dubai’s ultimate food zone, Time Out Market Dubai.
For the curious passerby, there is a special message behind the piece, which is found next to the Fountain Bar near The Stage inside the Souk Al Bahar food hall.
Lutfi explains it’s all about the importance of the community coming together. He drives his belief home as he features the iconic tourist destinations including the Burj Khalifa, Burj Al Arab, and Dubai Frame, as he reminds us of how far Dubai has come, being complemented by its rapid technological advancements.
