German studio Batek Architekten has designed the T7.2 dental clinic in Berlin, creating a gallery-like atmosphere using saturated colors and tactile materials. Located as an extension of the T7 clinic designed in 2017, the practice combines both practical medical spaces and artistic, personal elements. The central feature of the 200-square-meter interior is a striking green acrylic glass cube, which houses staff areas and serves as the clinic’s centerpiece.
Gallery-Inspired Design with Functional Spaces
The bright, minimalist space balances functionality with aesthetics. While most of the clinic is designed in clean white to meet hygiene standards, Batek Architekten strategically places the bold, green acrylic cube to contrast against the space. The cube’s design echoes the yellow reception area from the original clinic, maintaining a cohesive corporate identity. Surrounding the cube are walnut doors, “cathedral glass” partitions, and pastel accents in the bathrooms, all of which contribute to the inviting, artful atmosphere. This thoughtful design ensures that visitors feel as though they are entering a gallery, blending the warmth of a private apartment with the professionalism of a dental clinic.
