Art is a global language that cuts across all cultures and divides. This month, artists from all over the world, as well as local talent, have shown their work in a variety of mediums, including painting, sculpture, mixed media, performance arts, and music. Thanks to #DestinationsDubai and #DubaiArtForum, they wowed spectators of all nationalities with their creations and performances at events that showcased Dubai’s attractiveness as a melting pot of culture and creativity.

Art Dubai 2022, which just ended, had more than 120 presentations from 104 galleries and platforms from 44 countries. The galleries complemented the art forum for providing them with the opportunity to interact with collectors and artists, as well as the energy of Dubai’s cultural landscape. One participant said, “Art Dubai has been absolutely great for us,” adding, “It has been extremely positive and motivating.”

World Art Dubai, the region’s largest affordable contemporary retail art expo, which wrapped up on Saturday at Dubai World Trade Center, provided an important platform for new as well as established international and local artists to show their work to a varied audience.

With over 4,000 items on show from more than 300 artists and galleries from more than 50 countries, the event brought together a diverse range of disciplines under one roof, including mixed media, fashion, music, dance, sustainability, digital art, photography, graffiti, sculptures, and more.
