Dubai is set to reaffirm its reputation as a global design and hospitality capital when dmg events’ trio of landmark shows — INDEX, The Hotel Show, and WORKSPACE — return to the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) from May 27 to 29, 2025. Together, these co-located events will offer the region’s top platform for industry connections, product sourcing, and new design solutions.
Celebrating over 30 years of combined heritage, these exhibitions will unite the interior design, hospitality, and workplace innovation sectors. The shows will welcome more than 33,000 visitors and feature exhibitors from over 70 countries, covering a total of 55,249 square metres. Professionals from retail, real estate, hospitality, and procurement will join designers, architects, and hoteliers to explore the latest global innovations.
Dubai’s Growing Role as a Design and Hospitality Leader
Elaine O’Connell, Senior Vice President of Design and Hospitality at dmg events, believes Dubai’s growth into a global hub is no accident. “Dubai’s transformation into a global design and hospitality hub is driven by visionary leadership, world-class infrastructure, and its strategic location,” she explained. “As a centre for business, trade, and innovation, it seamlessly connects industry leaders, creatives, and investors worldwide.”
O’Connell added that the co-location of the three shows ensures a diverse experience for attendees. “With a carefully curated mix of new and established brands, emerging talent, and transformative solutions, these shows embody the energy and creativity that make Dubai the region’s leading design capital and champion its fostering of innovation and ability to set new industry benchmarks.”
Show Highlights: INDEX, The Hotel Show, and WORKSPACE
INDEX has long been the flagship event for the interior design and fit-out sector in the Middle East and North Africa. The event gathers architects, designers, and retailers, offering solutions across furniture, lighting, décor, kitchens, smart homes, flooring, and surfaces. Visitors can also expect the return of the INDEX Design Talks — a forum for discussions on trends and industry challenges.
The Hotel Show, which has evolved over two decades, is now the region’s biggest hospitality trade platform. The exhibition brings global suppliers together with top buyers from across MENA. Key product categories include hotel technology, F&B services, textiles, wellness solutions, and cleaning innovations.
This year’s event also features three focused conferences:
- HITEC: A showcase of next-generation hospitality technology.
- The Hospitality Leadership and F&B Forum: A meeting point for hoteliers and F&B professionals.
- The Engineering and Sustainability Summit: A platform promoting eco-friendly solutions for the hospitality industry.
Exciting contests like The Chefs Table, where hotel culinary teams compete for the title of ‘Hotel Culinary Team of the Year,’ and the return of the Housekeepers’ Challenge will also feature. The show will offer a VIP lounge for hosted buyers and invited guests from the interiors and hospitality industries.
WORKSPACE is celebrating its 22nd edition as the Middle East’s go-to platform for workplace design, office interiors, and technology. As regional businesses shift toward hybrid work, wellness-oriented offices, and AI tools, WORKSPACE will spotlight solutions for these modern needs. Also, the WORKSPACE Summit will dive into trends like AI-driven collaboration tools and wellness-focused office design.
A Focus on Knowledge, Networking, and Growth
Elaine O’Connell emphasized that the shows offer more than just products. “Beyond showcasing groundbreaking products and trends, our free-to-attend conferences — endorsed by the globally recognised CPD Certification Service — offer unparalleled access to expert knowledge, industry foresight, and accredited learning opportunities,” she explained.
This ensures that professionals attending the shows can stay ahead of market shifts while earning credentials to advance their careers in an evolving global market.
From cutting-edge designs to transformative business collaborations, these three events will further cement Dubai’s place as a global leader in interior design, hospitality, and workplace innovation.
