Farfetch is all set to launch a beauty section with over 100 luxury and independent brands

The British-Portuguese online retailer Farfetch announced this week that it has entered the cosmetics market with the launch of Farfetch Beauty. More than 100 luxury cosmetics, fragrance, skin, hair, and body brands are available at Farfetch Beauty, including Charlotte Tilbury, La Mer, Armani, Olaplex, and Gucci Beauty, as well as independent companies like BeautyStat and Necessaire.

The company’s development will focus on the $69 billion international beauty sector, which is expected to grow rapidly. More than 100 luxury cosmetics, fragrance, skin, hair, and body brands are available at Farfetch Beauty, including Charlotte Tilbury, La Mer, Armani, Olaplex, and Gucci Beauty, as well as independent companies like BeautyStat and Necessaire.

Violet Gray, a curated cosmetics store and website founded by Cassandra Gray, was acquired by Amazon earlier this year. Gray, who is also a Farfetch Global Adviser, will be a part of the retailer’s first-ever Beauty Global Collective, a social network where beauty professionals from various areas may interact. The collective, which will be led by a curator-in-chief who will be announced next month, includes makeup artists Isamaya Ffrench and Erin Parsons, board-certified dermatologist Michelle Henry, and others, is led by a curator-in-chief who will be unveiled next month.

Users of Beauty Global Collective can browse and purchase goods recommended by experts through personal edits, as well as share beauty tips and advice with others. In the meantime, a free community app employs a points system that allows users to accumulate credit toward unique discounts and offers.

Farfetch Beauty joins the Farfetch group’s existing cosmetic offerings of Browns, Off-White, and Violet Gray in launching.
