The House of KARL LAGERFELD has unveiled KARL LAGERFELD Residences Lisboa, the fashion Maison’s first branded residential development in Portugal. Created in partnership with Overseas and designed by The One Atelier under the direction of Andrea Boschetti, the project brings Karl Lagerfeld’s design philosophy into a luxury residential setting.
Located on Rua Braamcamp, close to Avenida da Liberdade, the development comprises 10 exclusive apartments spread across 11 storeys. Each residence starts at 234 square metres, combining contemporary architecture with interiors inspired by Karl Lagerfeld’s signature aesthetic.
Bauhaus-inspired architecture defines the development
The building features a sculptural V-shaped façade characterised by strong vertical lines and a red gradient that references Karl Lagerfeld’s distinctive sketching style. According to the design team, the architectural language draws on Bauhaus principles while reinterpreting details associated with the late designer’s creative identity.
Inside, Karl Lagerfeld Maison has furnished the residences using a refined palette of brushed steel, lacquer, Via Láctea stone and Grigio wood. Together, these materials create minimalist interiors that balance clean lines with premium finishes.
Wellness amenities expand the branded living experience
In addition to luxury residences, the development offers a comprehensive collection of lifestyle amenities. Residents will have access to concierge services, private parking and a dedicated wellness floor featuring a sauna, steam room, heated swimming pool, gym and emotional shower.
The project also incorporates design details inspired by Karl Lagerfeld’s private residences. For example, the swimming pool includes an underwater sound system inspired by his home in Biarritz, while the penthouse features a transparent-floor pool that forms a dramatic ceiling element for the level below. Furthermore, every apartment includes a private jacuzzi, reinforcing the project’s emphasis on comfort and exclusivity.
Scheduled for completion in 2028, KARL LAGERFELD Residences Lisboa expands the Maison’s growing portfolio of branded real estate developments, joining projects including the Karl Lagerfeld Hotel Macau and Karl Lagerfeld Villas Dubai.
