Louis Vuitton is preparing to open a 45,000-square-foot flagship store in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, set to open in 2029. The store, located between Beverly Drive and Rodeo Drive, will offer a range of products, including men’s and women’s collections, watches and jewelry, beauty products, and travel-related merchandise. It will also feature multiple eateries and a permanent exhibition space, providing visitors with a comprehensive Louis Vuitton lifestyle experience.
Architectural Vision by Frank Gehry
The new flagship’s design is spearheaded by renowned architect Frank Gehry, known for his work on the Fondation Louis Vuitton. The store will consist of two interconnected buildings, linked by two pedestrian bridges. The façade will feature modern, flowing curves and overlapping volumes, creating a dynamic visual statement. On top, green roof gardens will offer a peaceful space for visitors to relax and enjoy the contrast between nature and the architectural grandeur.
The building process is set to begin in 2026, with Peter Marino responsible for designing the interiors. Marino is famous for creating flagship stores for top luxury brands like Dior and Chanel. Louis Vuitton describes the space as a full lifestyle destination that will showcase its diverse product offerings alongside unique client experiences.
A Strategic Move for Louis Vuitton
This new Beverly Hills flagship represents Louis Vuitton’s continued expansion in Los Angeles. The brand had previously proposed a new flagship in the 109-room Cheval Blanc luxury hotel, but local opposition and resistance from the Beverly Hills City Council stopped that plan from moving forward.
The Beverly Hills mega flagship will likely become a prominent retail destination, cementing Louis Vuitton’s presence in one of the world’s most prestigious shopping districts.
