Nathan Neil is a contemporary artist on a constant journey of evolution, drawing inspiration from his life’s challenges and emotions. Art became his sanctuary during his upbringing, and his innate ability to adapt and excel in every art class highlighted his passion and talent. As a young boy in the heart of Los Angeles, Nathan immersed himself in drawing, a passion he carried through college.
Although painting initially didn’t interest him, he took a chance and embraced it during his college years, earning a bachelor’s degree in Art with an emphasis on painting. At the age of 27, Nathan decided to take a leap of faith and moved to Maui, Hawaii, one of the most inspiring artistic communities in the world.
Through determination and fearlessness, he found opportunities as an Art Consultant, but his true calling came when he began creating his own fluid abstract paintings. Selling and gifting over 600 of his original works, Nathan’s abstracts, especially those with an oceanic touch and epoxy resin coating, became highly sought after.
As he honed his craft, Nathan’s work caught the attention of the top gallery in Maui, where he was given wall space to showcase his unique art. Combining his abstract fluid art with live embellishments and his extensive painting knowledge, he created a new paradigm for art.
Nathan’s paintings embody energy and capture moments frozen in time, each piece original and given a unique title, date, and signature. He shares his creative process widely through social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube, where he is known as N8paint.
