Merging High Jewelry, Cloisonné Enameling, and Horological Excellence
Piaget has introduced the Altiplano Skeleton Métiers d’Art, a limited-edition masterpiece that combines the Maison’s celebrated expertise in skeleton watchmaking, Grand Feu cloisonné enameling, and gem-setting.
Artistic Craftsmanship Meets Watchmaking Innovation
The watch, co-signed by Piaget’s Ateliers de l’Extraordinaire and enamel artist Anita Porchet, features Grand Feu cloisonné enamel in hues of blue, green, and purple, applied in an abstract design. The enamel graces both sides of the dial, blending harmoniously with the gradient bezel, partially set with baguette-cut diamonds.
At its core, the 1201D1 Manufacture movement—an enhanced version of the 1200D—boasts gem-set details integrated into the architectural skeleton design. Despite its intricacy, the timepiece maintains Piaget’s ultra-thin hallmark, measuring just 7 mm thick.
Availability and Exclusivity
As part of Piaget’s boundary-pushing Altiplano collection, the Altiplano Skeleton Métiers d’Art is limited to eight pieces worldwide. Interested buyers can inquire about availability through Piaget’s website or boutiques.
