Rich McCor, also known as paperboyo, is a talented artist based in London, renowned for his unique approach to art using everyday surroundings, a scalpel, paper, a camera, and an incredibly imaginative mind.

McCor’s artistic style revolves around intricate hand-cut paper silhouettes that transform iconic landmarks and vistas into clever and captivating vignettes. With his ingenious creativity, he has amassed hundreds of thousands of followers on social media platforms and has traveled to various corners of the globe, leaving his artistic mark along the way.

The artist’s foray into this distinctive form of photography began with London’s famous Big Ben, officially known as the Elizabeth Tower in Westminster. McCor’s idea was to reimagine the Clock Tower as a watch dial, and with the use of paper cut-outs, he framed the clock, turning it into a wristwatch. This clever transformation showcased his ability to see beyond the ordinary and transform familiar landmarks into whimsical and unexpected scenes.

Paperboyo photography is characterized by a minimalistic approach that combines his sharp intellect with a quirky perspective. Each of his photographs captures the essence of his imaginative vision, merging the physical world with his creative concepts. Through his unique perspective and artistic execution, he brings a fresh and engaging dimension to the art of photography.

While Rich McCor grew up in the serene Kent countryside, he now calls Battersea, London, his home. The vibrant and diverse city provides him with a rich tapestry of inspiration for his artwork, as he continues to explore new locations and create captivating scenes using his paper cut-out techniques.

As an artist, Rich McCor’s ingenuity and ability to transform ordinary scenes into extraordinary works of art have garnered him a devoted following and global recognition. Through his artistic endeavors, he invites viewers to see the world from a different perspective and appreciate the hidden beauty in their surroundings.
