On July 31, Romain Gerardin-Fresse, a distinguished lawyer and prominent resident of the UAE, celebrated a significant milestone with the grand opening of his first art gallery on the prestigious Mohammed Bin Rashid Boulevard in Downtown Dubai. The inauguration of the gallery represents a major personal and professional achievement for Romain, who has poured substantial effort and dedication into this project.
The gallery hosted the opening event, which around 60 carefully selected guests, including notable figures from the art and business communities, attended.
The exhibition featured a diverse array of artworks from three prominent artists that Romain represents: Amélie Béral, John Thery, and MBart. Amélie Béral, one of the showcased artists, was present to engage with guests, offering insights into her creative process and the thematic elements of her work. The event also welcomed distinguished guests such as Yaqoob Al Ali, Private Advisor to Sheikh Juma Bin Maktoum Al Maktoum and Executive Director of His Office.
The gallery’s exhibition, titled “Enjoy The Color,” displayed a range of vibrant and thought-provoking pieces. Consequently, it attracted art collectors from Dubai, Geneva, London, and Monaco. Moreover, this summer exhibition drew an impressive turnout, including collectors, government officials, and celebrities. As a result, it highlighted the gallery’s immediate impact and appeal.
Romain Gerardin-Fresse expressed his enthusiasm for the successful launch, stating, “I am thrilled that we could welcome so many esteemed guests who appreciated the artworks. It was crucial for me to realize this project, which has been close to my heart for several years, and to introduce European contemporary artists to a Middle Eastern audience that had not yet encountered them.”
As a passionate art collector and advocate, Romain frequently shares his perspectives on art with the media. Furthermore, he has committed to adding a charitable dimension to the gallery’s operations by dedicating a portion of the proceeds from art sales to various associations through monthly exhibitions.
