In September, the prestigious Italian fashion and design school Istituto Marangoni will open a new branch in Dubai.Milan, Paris, London, Mumbai, Miami, and Florence are among the cities where the Istituto Marangoni has campuses.
The Dubai International Financial Center will house the UAE unit.”We found a prestigious and functional site,” Valenti told fashion publication WWD.
“In terms of fashion and design-focused higher education, Dubai is not very established.” There are no vertical offerings, only broad institutions with a few courses.”Valenti stated that the institution is already working on a number of regional collaborations.
Students from the Dubai branch will be able to spend one or more years at any of Istituto Marangoni’s other nine locations across the world.
Franco Moschino and Alessandra Facchinetti from Italy, Julie de Libran from France, Rahul Mishra from India, Rafael Lopez from Mexico, and Sandra Mansour from Lebanon are among the school’s alumni.
