Immersive exhibits featuring works by the post-Impressionist painter will welcome visitors in 2021. Classic art will come alive when “Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience” comes to two Texas locations this year, allowing visitors to fulfill the dream of stepping into a masterpiece painting. The original Immersive Van Gogh has risen to blockbuster status, becoming the hottest ticket to hold. Immersive Van Gogh sold out its run in Toronto, has sold out and extended its run in Chicago, and is opening in San Francisco in March, where its first month is sold-out.

Immersive Van Gogh is the latest creation by the world-renowned master of digital art, Italy’s Massimiliano Siccardi, who for 30 years has been pioneering immersive exhibitions in Europe. Over 2 million visitors have seen his magnificent installations. According to a March 1 release, entertainment producer Exhibition Hub and discovery platform Fever are bringing the event, which started in Europe, to multiple cities across the United States, including Dallas on September 15-December 12 and Houston sometime this summer. The 360-degree, immersive digital art experience allows visitors to journey into the universe of Vincent van Gogh, bringing to life a new form of edutainment.

The experience illuminates and transforms a unique physical space into a fully immersive exhibit, where Van Gogh’s work takes over the walls via cutting-edge 360-degree digital projections and one-of-a-kind VR experiences. With the help of 60,600 frames of video, 90,000,000 pixels, and 500,000+ cubic feet of projections, this captivating digital art exhibit merges state-of-the-art technology, theatrical storytelling, and world-class animation. It gives guests the rare opportunity to “step inside” and experience the incredible post-Impressionist works of Van Gogh like never before. Immersive Van Gogh will be making its mark at a secret Dallas location, to be announced soon.

“We believe there is a pent-up demand for immersive entertainment in a COVID-safe environment,” said Mario Iacampo, CEO of Exhibition Hub, in a statement. “As the world slowly returns to normal, ‘Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience’ allows people to once again gather and enjoy art and entertainment in a safe, socially distanced manner.”

It’ll be a big year for Van Gogh in Texas, as Dallas Museum of Art is set to host the blockbuster exhibition “Van Gogh and the Olive Groves,” October 17, 2021-February 6, 2022. Exhibition Hub has produced more than 70 exhibitions and immersive experiences around the world, adapting its productions to numerous types of venues, including museums, galleries, shopping malls, cathedrals, and historical sites.
