In this year’s artist-first brand campaign “These Projects Are Ads for Creativity,” the global icon of creative expression and discovery is proud to empower a family of artists, innovators, and originators to share their unique viewpoints, creative process, and enthusiasm for purpose-driven tales. Vans commissioned artists to go out into the world and bring their projects to life—from music videos and skateboarding access to sculptures, paintings, and more—rather than relying on traditional advertising.
The Linda Linda’s, Yang Liu Qing (a.k.a. Liu Liu 66), and Coco Dávez are among the featured projects in a new set of instalments of Vans’ “These Projects Are Ads for Creativity” series, which features highlighted projects from The Linda Linda’s, Yang Liu Qing , and Coco Dávez. This year’s campaign strives to emphasize purpose and boost local communities by highlighting all forms of creativity and acknowledging the brilliant individuals behind the work.
“Vans believes in the importance of creative expression and discovery above everything else. To that aim, rather than just making advertisements about creativity, we’re going a step further and investing in artists to help them bring their visions to life and be seen “Kristin Harrer, Vans Global Chief Marketing Officer, commented on the launch of this year’s campaign .Vans will continue to champion diverse creators and present new artists and partners throughout the year to express their passion for cause and community.
