Meet Zaina Zayed, an artist whose mesmerizing creations take the form of a single, continuous line that seems to go on forever. Through her contemporary doodle art, she skillfully captures thoughts and emotions, infusing her work with mindfulness and meditation.
Zayed’s artistic journey began back in 2012 during her university lectures, where she found solace in sketching meandering lines while lost in daydreams. Witnessing the therapeutic effects of this creative outlet in managing her stress, she embraced the flowing line and filled page after page with intricate doodles. Drawing inspiration from her daily life, she began to transform these seemingly random squiggles into mesmerizing works of art.
At the core of Zaina Zayed’s doodle art lies a continuous chain of thoughts, starting from a single point and evolving into complex forms that take on a life of their own. Zaina Zayed has shared her captivating artwork with the world through various exhibitions and collaborations. Her upcoming shows in 2023 at Maisanne Design in Abu Dhabi, UAE, and Gallery 83 in the USA are eagerly awaited by art enthusiasts.
In 2022, she had the honor of showcasing her talent at Wild Goose Creative in the USA, and in 2021, her solo exhibition graced the walls of Emergent Art Gallery, also in the USA. Additionally, her art found a home at Ahwak Community in Lebanon in 2020.
Zayed’s talent has also led to exciting collaborations, including projects with Mud WTR in the USA and Equibalance, custom balance boards in Lebanon, both in 2022.
With a Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design from The American University of Sharjah in 2015, Zaina Zayed’s artistic journey continues to evolve and inspire. Her art serves as a bridge between mindfulness, meditation, and creativity, inviting viewers to explore the endless possibilities of a single line and the vastness of the human mind.
