Khalid Al Astad is an Emirati artist born in Khor Fakkan. He is the son of a famous artist in the UAE, Mohamed Al Astad. He is now a freshly graduated mechanical engineer but his passion for art remains.
Khalid is well known for his inspiration for art and creativity. He is a firm believer that creativity is allowing yourself to make mistakes and art is knowing which ones to keep. Therefore, Khalid prefers self-learning and sharing methods.
As a photographer, he has contributed to 16 exhibitions, out of which 12 are personal. He has photographs, and paintings owned by the royal family and important businessmen in the AE. His photographs, sketches, and paintings are uniquely related to his personality
His goal is to raise Emirati artistic power to the global artistic and cultural community.
