The Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS) 2026 festival is running from 2 July to 30 August 2026, bringing 60 days of shopping promotions, live entertainment, family attractions, and prize campaigns across Dubai. Organized by the Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), the 29th edition features the theme “Make it a Dubai Summer” and offers citywide retail promotions, cultural events, and dining experiences designed to attract both residents and visitors during the summer season.
Retail Discounts and Citywide Promotions
One of the festival’s biggest attractions is the Great Dubai Summer Sale, where participating retailers offer discounts of up to 90% on fashion, electronics, beauty products, and home furnishings. Meanwhile, the popular DSS Daily Surprises continue to provide limited-time offers revealed only 24 hours in advance, encouraging shoppers to visit participating stores throughout the festival.
Additionally, dedicated shopping campaigns include a Home & Furnishings Flash Sale, featuring discounts of up to 80% across more than 1,000 brands, and a Back-to-School promotion running from 3 to 30 August, with offers on school supplies, laptops, stationery, and other student essentials.
Dining, Family Entertainment and Prize Draws
Beyond shopping, DSS 2026 includes a wide range of food and entertainment experiences. From 3 to 30 August, the AED 10 Dish campaign allows diners to enjoy selected signature menu items for AED 10 at more than 170 restaurants and cafés across over 700 locations.
