To commemorate the opening of its first Canadian Porsche Experience Centre (PEC) in Toronto, Porsche Cars Canada has introduced a unique 911 GT3 RS. This bespoke vehicle, created in partnership with the Porsche Sonderwunsch team and renowned designer Grant Larson, serves as both a collector’s dream and a philanthropic effort.
The sealed-bid auction began on June 10 during the grand opening of PEC Toronto and will close on July 1—Canada Day. All proceeds will benefit Campfire Circle, an Ontario-based charity that supports children living with serious illnesses. This gesture not only highlights Porsche’s community engagement but also enhances the launch’s cultural impact.
A Tribute to Canadian Identity and Design Excellence
Styled specifically for the Canadian market, the one-of-a-kind GT3 RS stands out with its striking red-and-white livery, symbolizing the national flag. Inside, the cabin features custom “pepita” fabric that nods to Porsche’s design heritage. The vehicle is also equipped with the coveted Weissach Package, further elevating its performance and appeal.
In addition, the car includes several exclusive elements. These include a cowl cover signed by Grant Larson, Andreas Preuninger, and Boris Apenbrink. Moreover, the winning bidder will receive a matching Chronograph 911 GT3 RS timepiece and a 1:18 scale model of the car, creating a complete collector’s set.
Legacy and Customisation Meet for a Good Cause
Initially revealed at the 2024 Canadian International Auto Show, the GT3 RS demonstrates Porsche’s advanced personalisation capabilities. More importantly, it celebrates a major milestone for the brand in Canada.
As Trevor Arthur, CEO of Porsche Cars Canada, stated, “this special vehicle was the realization of a dream.” His words reflect the passion and craftsmanship behind the project—qualities that define Porsche’s enduring legacy. Through this charity-driven initiative, the brand not only honors its arrival in Toronto but also drives forward with purpose.
